Rosneft discovers field with recoverable oil reserves of 2 mln tns
MOSCOW, Feb 14 (PRIME) -- Samaraneftegaz, a subsidiary of Russian oil major Rosneft, has discovered an oilfield in the Samara Region with the initial recoverable reserves of oil standing at 2 million tons under the C1 and C2 categories, the company said in a statement on Friday.
The company received industrial inflow of 50 cubic meters per day after drilling an exploratory well at the Rodninskoye field of the Kelveisky license site, the company said.
“Samaraneftegaz will continue its work on expansion of the resource base and on involvement of new reserves into production,” Rosneft said.
